Counseling Style

Kaitlin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy with utilization of several modalities while finding it important to have flexibility and adjust to the needs of a particular client. She values the importance of building rapport with clients to ensure trust as client’s approach their treatment. Kaitlin believes that everyone should have a safe and non-judgmental space within the therapeutic relationship. She ensures that every client is met with compassion and is provided a comfortable environment to make progress on their identified goals within therapy. Kaitlin is passionate about meeting the needs of each unique client in order for every client to feel validated and empowered.

Experience

Kaitlin received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Boston University School of Medicine. Kaitlin has experience working with individuals who have a wide variety of identities, cultures and diagnoses, including working with criminal justice involved individuals. Her experience includes providing individual therapy, group therapy and crisis intervention in acute settings.
