Counseling Style

Gabrielle uses an integrative approach to therapy. Through a person-centered and strengths-based approach, she aims to provide a comfortable space in which you can feel empowered and develop a strong sense of self-regard to navigate life’s curveballs.

She is a firm believer in the power of collaboration, bringing her empathetic nature and sense of humor into session to provide the support needed to reach your goals. Gabrielle values the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy to help you develop the skills you need to do just that.

Experience

Gabrielle earned her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Goldsmiths College and is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.  She has worked in several mental health settings including residential, community outreach, hospitals, and most recently in corrections. She has also had the privilege to work alongside the Department of Children and Families, Department of Corrections, and Department of Public Health to gain a vast understanding of the needs of many treatment populations. This has been helpful in her ability to provide mental health and substance use counseling for adolescents, adults, and older adults—all with unique needs and challenges of their own.
