Experience
Elsbeth Simoni is an independent licensed alcohol and drug counselor. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston with an MA in Forensic Services and completed the curriculum for the alcohol and drug program. Additionally, several years ago, she decided to return to school at Bay Path University and earned a Master’s in Non-Profit Management Certificate. She has been in practice for 15 years.
She began her 15-year career at the Men’s Addiction Treatment Center (MATC) High Point Treatment Center, a Section 35 facility, as a clinician. After working as a case manager at a non-profit and a crisis stabilization step-down unit as a counselor with Riverside Community Care. Elsbeth, then excelled in her career by working within a town police department in Stoneham, MA as a clinician. She then advanced her position to Executive Director of the Addiction Referral Center. Elsbeth continued her stewardship at a community mental health agency as a Director of Outpatient Substance Use Services at South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC).
