Counseling Style

Ellen’s approach to therapy seeks to create a welcoming, inclusive, empathetic and safe space to walk alongside individuals as they courageously engage in therapy at their own pace and comfort level. We all need a little extra support sometimes, and Ellen’s desire is that you will feel valued, understood, encouraged and cared for throughout your time in therapy. She would be honored to journey with you towards gaining new insights, healing, growth, and taking any step (small or big) towards the goals you have identified. She hopes to provide a calming and secure presence during life’s tough moments, and also become one of your biggest cheerleaders as new solutions, victories and joys come your way.


Ellen enjoys spending time with loved ones, being active, learning new things, traveling, and seeking out new adventures. Ellen received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in the state of Massachusetts. She has utilized a holistic approach while working in both a University student counseling center, as well as with a Mobile Crisis Team supporting diverse populations in the greater Boston area. Ellen was inspired to enter the field of counseling after having been impacted greatly by her own time in therapy helping her navigate multiple losses and transitions. During her collegiate and professional athletic career, Ellen also witnessed the world wide need for increased access to mental health resources, and she hoped to enter the counseling field to join the support team for anyone open to taking that next step.
