As a professional counselor, Caroline creates a safe place for a person to speak openly, to process and reflect, to learn, and to grow. Caroline is warm, empathetic, and cares deeply for her clients, allowing them to direct the conversation, celebrating with them in their growth, and willingly sitting with them in their pain. For people feeling stuck in negative thoughts, emotions, or trapped in a cycle of unwanted actions or reactions, Caroline believes that counseling offers unique insights that only come from processing one’s thoughts and feelings out loud with a safe person. Often hearing one’s thoughts reflected back from an accepting and non-judgmental person is enough to bring about a shift in outlook and perspective which can lead to real and lasting change.
Caroline is a wife, mother and active member of her community. She loves to read and enjoys time with friends. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Economics from Wellesley College and a Master of Arts in Counseling: Clinical Mental Health from Concordia University, Irvine. She has extensive experience providing leadership training and spiritual support to students at MIT, WPI, Penn State, and UMass.
