Counseling Style

Mercy provides a calm, supportive, and collaborative approach to psychiatric care, offering a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and respected. She believes effective treatment is built on trust, shared decision-making, and individualized care. Her approach combines thoughtful medication management with holistic strategies such as mindfulness, lifestyle adjustments, and practical coping skills. Mercy works closely with clients to develop realistic, personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and values, with an emphasis on emotional balance, resilience, and long-term well-being. Care is paced and intentional, helping clients feel supported while navigating challenges and life transitions.

Experience

Mercy has always been passionate about mental health care and has experience working in a variety of settings as both an RN and APRN, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, inpatient care, and partial hospitalization programs. Her experience as an RN before becoming a PMHNP gave her a strong foundation in compassionate patient care and helped shape the provider she is today.
Mercy earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Elms College and values the opportunity to build trusting relationships with her patients while helping them work toward better mental health and overall well-being.
