Jennifer is a compassionate and understanding therapist, who believes that one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic journey is the relationship between the person and the therapist. She provides a person-centered, collaborative, and trauma informed approach while utilizing a variety of evidenced based tools and principles to help each person she meets with their healing and growth journey. Jen recognizes every individual has unique needs and desired goals. She creates a safe and warm space to make it more comfortable for people to open up in therapy. She believes it important to meet each individual where they are at, and tailor the therapy to their specific needs.
Experience
Jennifer graduated from Bay Path College with her undergraduate in General Psychology (2011)and then went on to pursue her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Springfield College in 2013. She has been licensed as an LMHC since 2016. She enjoys working with adults and older adolescents, and has worked with diverse populations in outpatient settings as well as Intensive Outpatient and Partial hospitalization settings for both behavioral health and substance use needs. Jen has an eclectic toolbox where she utilizes integrated principles and techniques from CBT , DBT, ACT, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and psych-education. She guides her work on her commitment to help each person she is working with recognize their strengths and potential.
