Latasha believes that every client is unique and deserves to be treated as such. She will safely guide clients through areas of life that are causing distress, and help clients meet their individual goals. Latasha also believes that the effectiveness of therapy depends on the client’s willingness to be an active participant throughout the process.
Her treatment style is relational and person-centered. She utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to guide clients through mental and behavioral challenges, and uses solution-focused techniques to help clients meet their goals and become successful in their lives.
Experience
Latasha received her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College in Boston. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Mental Health from American International College.
Latasha has extensive experience in the mental health field, from working with adults in the prison system, to providing in-home counseling to children. She’s worked with children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, and seniors experiencing a wide range of life challenges in outpatient settings. She also has experience providing marriage/couples counseling, relationship counseling, and family counseling.
