Counseling Style
Jacqui is a deeply curious therapist dedicated to helping people with warmth and authenticity to reconnect with their inner resilience and sense of wholeness. She merges a rigorous, psychodynamic clinical foundation with a heartfelt, collaborative spirit. She believes that healing happens when we become curious about all parts of ourselves and cultivate self-compassion. With empathy, insight, and humor, Jacqui creates a nurturing and gentle space where clients of all intersectional identities can feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported navigating life’s challenges.
Experience
Since earning her MSW from Smith College, she’s worked with individuals and couples across the lifespan including rape crisis, college counseling, and psychadelic assisted settings. Jacqui’s therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Gottman, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. As a certified Kripalu Mindfulness Outdoor Guide (KMOG), she also incorporates the healing power of nature, meditation, and mindfulness into her therapeutic work. Jacqui is dedicated to lifelong learning and personal growth, which she considers essential to supporting others with integrity, and is currently working towards certification in sandtray play therapy.
Outside the therapy room she enjoys crochet, yoga, running, and spending time with her pug, Spike.
