Central to Chris’ philosophy is the belief that empowerment often comes from the courage to seek help from and connect with others. He sees the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and opportunity to foster such a connection, which serves as a powerful step toward lasting freedom. Chris offers an empathetic, non-judgmental atmosphere in which clients can find clarity and identify barriers standing between where they are and where they wish to be. He believes that when individuals acknowledge their power and responsibility in their own healing, the possibilities for transformation are endless.
Experience
Specializing in substance use disorders, Chris has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, helping clients overcome various substance use and mental health challenges. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in trauma services from Endicott College and went on to earn his master’s degree in addiction counseling from Ottawa University.
